TT has been a bust thus far and would play the 10-15 behind Al.
Webster does nothing for me.
Noah is a keeper and I like him, but the 13th is too far back to make this work. We simply would not get the players we want with that pick.

Not high on T2 at all, plus he plays the same position as Al. Not certain I would do it but, Foye for Noah, if the Bulls draft Beasley, is at least a more realistic possibility.

Ty Thomas is still Stro Swift 2.0, he has no position and he really doesnt excel at anything but blocking shots due to his athleticism. Why would we trade for TT for him to be a back-up?

The biggest issue with this trade for me is Tyrus Thomas. He has no fit on this team and is what makes this deal not work. Chicago values him a ton, we value him little. If it were Deng in his place with any other tweaks we are back to really considering it. The value offered is not horrible, we just value those pieces less than the teams giving them up. Webster does minimal for me, but he is a decent Prospect and, of course, Portland loves him. The future pick may or may not be as valuable and protections would have to be figured out. Not sure what would be available at #13, so that would be hard to project the value of.

Regardless, alot of thought into a trade with close value. As is, I simply do not like the fit of the pieces, though with some tweaking, it is not as outlandish as it many make it sound. Just say no to Tyrus Thomas.

I like the concept but way too many players are involved. Many young players too. Often, trades of this size involve veterans and aging players, not young ones, simply because its too risky to be giving up on your own players you invested in, for another one.

I doubt Portland would do this trade anyway, it looks pretty bad from our side. We blow our whole capspace plan on Hinrich and Simmons and give up Webster and our pick. It is an incredible deal for Chicago though.
