"Absolutely it's a coming- home party," Miller said. "It gives me a chance to come here, and hopefully I'll have an opportunity here to finish out my career. To be a part of the Timberwolves, a team I always watched growing up and always wanted to be a part of, and now I've got that opportunity. So hopefully I'll finish my career here." -- Minneapolis Star Tribune

See I like to hear these things. Love stated many times this is the place he wants to be, now MIke Miller our second best player says he loves it here and wants to finish it up here, great news and this I think makes the draft day deal even better. We have a good core of guys that all want to be here now

Yeah, I'm getting really excited about the team next year. It's rare that you find so many players on a team that all want to to be a piece of the puzzle, and who aren't just looking to advance their own careers. Once our team chemistry develops, I think we're going to surprise some people. If everyone stays healthy, Maybe 40 wins.

The Kings, Mavs, Suns, Nugs, Warriors, and possibly Jazz are all going to have their share of chemistry problems. The wolves are starting to look like the Twins in this regard. No more dissenting holdovers, i.e. Jaric, Buckner, Walker, etc. I see everybody being on board and just trying to win. Even Collins and Cardinal will be classy locker room guys.

I can't wait.

That's the one part I like about this trade, no more malcontents.

Rashad McCants will be irritated if he doesn't earn a starting spot though, which is probably likely at this juncture.

if Miller really want's to finish his career in minny, what do you think he'll settle with by the time he'll become FA?

I would expect him to have two really good seasons, and he'll only be 30 when his contract is up. We're probably looking at a $8-9Mil per year deal just like he has right now.
