^Last year I agreed with you, but this is no longer a team in transition. They should have the coach in place that's going to be leading these guys when they've had enough experience to compete in the West. Wittman is weakest link on this team, weaker even than McHale IMO.

to be honest I have huge expectations for this team and I'd fire Wittman for anything less than a top 3 record in the NBA and a first round bye in the playoffs. I still don't like the Love trade, but now that the draft has past lets wait to complain about it until there actually is an appreciable/obvious difference in productivity displayed on the court.

On Foye/Roy - If Roy was a little more durable, I'd agree with you. Right now Roy has some hardware (ROY) and Foye's under the radar. But their career per-48 numbers are almost exactly the same. Time will tell... if I were a Blazer fan right now I'd be a little worried about Roy and Oden's ability to make it through multiple 82 game seasons, no matter how exciting Fernandez looked in the Olympics.
