^Last year I agreed with you, but this is no longer a team in transition. They should have the coach in place that's going to be leading these guys when they've had enough experience to compete in the West. Wittman is weakest link on this team, weaker even than McHale IMO.

to be honest I have huge expectations for this team and I'd fire Wittman for anything less than a top 3 record in the NBA and a first round bye in the playoffs. I don't want to hear excuses about injuries, or the team is too young, or there's no such thing as first round byes in the NBA. Get it done or get to steppin

You made me laugh out loud in the office for "first round bye." Shame on you.

Randy Foye will never be as good as Brandon Roy.

^This is coming from someone who likes Foye but wishes they kept Roy.

Trading O.J. Mayo for Kevin Love will prove to be a major mistake that haunts this franchise down the road.

^This is coming from someone who still has nightmares about the draft night trade.

That brought a chuckle, and then tears as I tried to stifle my laugh. Not a good combination at work. Thanks for embarassing me.

I still don't like the Love trade, but now that the draft has past lets wait to complain about it until there actually is an appreciable/obvious difference in productivity displayed on the court.

On Foye/Roy - If Roy was a little more durable, I'd agree with you. Right now Roy has some hardware (ROY) and Foye's under the radar. But their career per-48 numbers are almost exactly the same. Time will tell... if I were a Blazer fan right now I'd be a little worried about Roy and Oden's ability to make it through multiple 82 game seasons, no matter how exciting Fernandez looked in the Olympics.

On Mayo/Love - see bottom of this post.

Corey Brewer will be a better pro (on and off the court) than Joakim Noah.

^My only question is will Brewer bust out the badass headband next season like he did at Florida? I mean, Brewer minus his headband is like Superman without his cape. :wavefinger:

Mike Miller is an ugly chick.

:) I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I don't say this about many people but he really needs to lose the hair.

I disagree, Mike Miller is the new Wally. He's gonna be a hit here with the ladies.

I'm a little worried about Love (knee, achilles), Jefferson (ankles), McCants (knee), and Foye (knee)'s abilities to make it through multiple 82 game seasons

Not to mention the nagging worry that Brewer gets snapped in two.
