Thanks for the info. At least it doesn't sound too serious.

I'm relieved to say the least. 3-4 weeks is okay with me considering what it could have been. Hopefully he'll get that COMPLETELY 100% before they bring him back out there during camp, exhibition, or whatever time that is.

Wolves say he'll be sidelined 2-3 weeks, but should be ready for the start of the season:

Kingly, thanks for the update... Good to know what's going on.

...

...

Do you know what ELSE would be nice to know?

What's going on with another fragile knee and the basketball player it belongs to. Used to be a Clipper, is also in contact with the Blazers....

I'm just saying, it would be nice to know. :)

I hope this isn't like another guy who had a knee injury last season. "oh, he should be back in 4 weeks." 3 months later....he finally plays.

Thanks for the info banks/kingly.

Seriously, keep those scrubs away from the franchise player!

Nah I don't think so, this is a clear diagnosis of an MCL sprain, which usually goes about a month max. Foye's left so much uncertainty, it wasn't totally clear what the issue was if I'm not mistaken. I actually still don't know what was actually wrong with him.

yea, Foye hurt the knee cap. That is much, much more difficult than a MCl sprain. it is always a blood flow issue. look at Sid Rice and his knee, he will likely play on it.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. It's good to know that Al's injury isn't as serious as Foye's was and he should be back and 100% in a month or so. Can't wait to see this guy beast this season!!!(although i won't be able to watch many games as I don't have fsn north anymore...its fsn midwest. Watch the games well and enjoy them for me everyone)

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
