Al Jefferson, Minnesota: He's listed as a power forward in the Timberwolves' media guide, so that's good enough for us. Unfortunately, that's going to push him down this list because he needs to add another dimension to scoring and rebounding.

I assume they mean he needs to add defense and/or passing to his game. What I don't get is how they can call Amare the most dominant big man in the game and say this about Al.

Yea I think I misread it. I thought they were saying that he needs to boost his rebounding and socring to get higher on the list. Adding D makes more since.

Good point on the Amare thing though. Amare plays probably less D than Al does. Every big man has huge games against him.

That other list is stupid too. If they want to put Al that low, which I don't agree with, fine. But why do they admit that he should be higher? Then they blame the team? What? Are these team or player rankings? How about the fact that Al is the star of his team, does that not count for anything? Are they certain that Aldridge, Bynum, Josh Howard, David West, or a number of those guys would be doing as well if they were the best players on their team?

David West is awesome but I really doubt he would be putting up 22 and 12 if the team was just him and a bunch of lesser players.

That list sucks, like all the other lists that guy made. Big Al is the best offensive power forward in the league and isn't bad on D either.

Mike Miller is 48th in the league, 15th in SF
