Everyone was pretty much a no on this from MN side in the initial thread. I think the inclusion of RJ makes the deal work for everyone involved. Although MIL may balk at the extra money that AK47 costs. I think the difference is small enough to not be an issue. I also think he is a better fit for their team and can do more for them overall. Plus AK47 + Bogut shot blocking can erase some of Redd's defensive liabilities.
I would personally rather include other assets like picks instead of brewer(MIA pick), but that's just cuz I like the kids potential. A guy like RJ how can get to the line is exactly what the wolves are missing....but this is really just a way for me to get the guy arrested!
Also, Combinable with shrinks MN IND deal that includes MD...fairly easily

My ideal lineup(with MIA pick subbed in for Brewer)
Foye\bassy\x
Miller\shad\brewer
RJ\miller\gomes\brewer
Love\al\gomes\cookie
Al\love\harrison\
A note about capspace. This deal allows MN some flex since miller and RJ have contracts that expire 1 year apart. If the team seems to be working well. They can extend Miller, if not they can chose to dabble in the FA pool the following year and probably have enough to offer 1 max deal.

No way the Jazz do this when Boozer may walk at the end of the season leaving them with noone to play at the 4

The premise of this trade was posted by a Jazzfan, and while Boozer is an UFA this deal gives the Jazz the ability to offer him the money he needs to stick around. As for the potential to have noone to play at the 4, that potential always exists due to the fact players get injured. Things happen, either way as it stands now Utahs Finances will restrict their ability to retain Boozer, and AK47 will be misused in his role with the Jazz. Sure there is the potential the Jazz end up in a position with no primary guy to man the 4 for 2 years, but they do have capspace in this unlikely event and can easily pickup a 4 via draft or trades or via capspace to a team over the cap + something. It isn't all doom and gloom in that situation. This sort of deal frees them from the financial burden and opens up possibilities.

I bet everyone thinks I'll bash the trade simply because having two Jefferson's on the team would cause me to be unable to post any name correctly. Maybe we should get Al Harrington too, and Jason Richardson, and put me in a sanitarium?
This is an interesting trade. I think the trade values are fair, which is generally tough to do. I think I agree with your take that Kirilenko might be a better fit in MIL, but I imagine they got instantly attached to him when they brought in a low-level star, much like we got attached to Mike Miller. AK's inconsistency the last couple years may make them say no, but I don't know.
How is RJ's defense? It seems to me that its our defense that we need help with the most now, so I'm also reluctant to give up Corey Brewer (hey -- I feel happy UTA posters would have to deal with two Brewers though!). AK is better if he's healthy, but his deal is scary for me.
Interesting trade.
BTW, how would that fit into the MIN-IND deal? I think combining Jeffersons and Brewers derailed my thinking process.

Re: MN - UTAH - MIL
As I said I think corey could easily be subbed by the MIA pick, and that would be my preffered option.
RJ's defense is average at best imo. I do like him as a player, but to be honest I like AK47 as a player more, AK just doesn't fit ideally with what we have at the 4. AK and RJ are great SF's, but AK47's ability to play the 4 effectively and impact the game vastly outweighs any offensive pluses that RJ may have at the 3.
As for MN's defensive woes, they are bad, but not quite as bad as MIL. MN had a mega rebounding problem last season and that has been improved vastly with Love + Miller. MIL actually is in a worse rebounding and defensive position and I think overall they were last in the league in defensive efficiency. RJ does not address any of the holes they have.
As for the combined IND deal I mentioned...
Minnesota Timberwolves
Incoming Players: Marquis Daniels, Richard Jefferson, Kyrylo Fesenko
Outgoing Players: Jason Collins, Rodney Carney, Brian Cardinal, Mark Madsen, Utah pick, MIA pick
Indiana Pacers
Incoming Players: Brian Cardinal, Utah pick, Rodney Carney
Outgoing Players: Marquis Daniels, Maceo Baston
Utah Jazz
Incoming Players: Jason Collins, MIA Pick, Mark Madsen, Maceo Baston
Outgoing Players: Andrei Kirilenko, Kyrylo Fesenko, Morris Almond
Milwaukee Bucks
Incoming Players: Andrei Kirilenko, Morris Almond
Outgoing Players: Richard Jefferson
This deal is better for Utah Financially, but they may require a 3 in return this season and I removed brewer in this example.
For MN I removed Brewer as I value him more than the MIA pick and included Fesenko from the original thread the Jazz poster to move more salary around. It also gives MN some more beef at the 5, and if memory serves me Fesenko is a better than average shot blocker.
For MIL Bucks get Almond who was a good scorer in College and he could get a chance to shine with some playing time. Almond is big enough to play the 2 or 3.
For IND they get a similar deal to the one in the other thread but gain a carney audition.

Im surprised you missed the Corey/Ronnie Brewer and Jason/Jarron Collins effect that would happen if this deal went down.
Back on topic, I like the idea of having trade threads here that arent all focused on us having to give up Miller. I dont really see the Bucks trading Jefferson away after just dealing for him though. I like RJ, and with Foye, Miller, Love, McCants and Big Al here our offense would be ridiculously potent, our defense would be very lacking however. I dont think we can get anyone much better from 2010 FA then a RJ type.
What worries me is the fact that Foye wouldnt be an ideal PG with all these scorers. A pass 1st minded guy i think would fit better
