Greetings / Vegas Odds On 1st Coach Fired in 2008-09

Post#1 » by GopherIt! » Fri Nov 7, 2008 9:19 am

What's up guys? Haven't been around in a while and wanted to say hi.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but apparently the sportsbook Bodog believed going into the season that our Timberwolves own Randy Wittman (at 3/1 odds) has the best chance of being the first NBA coach fired this year. Cheers.

I see a lot of people around here clammoring for Wittman's dismissal. I'm not saying I disagree, but who would we get/promote if Witt does get the axe?

Yeah, that's probably the main reason he'll stick around. They didn't hire a backup coach like they did with Casey so they could screw him over in midseason.

Sichting or Bickerstaff, most likely. I think most on the board favor the latter, but I really like what Jerry did with the guys last season when RSW was out after back surgery. It was about the best the guys played all season last year, at least pre-Foye returning.
