This a freaking MESS. Last years wolves would blow us out of the water.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I think Alice is hoping Witt will be fired by the Phoenix game. In that case, i think we will win those games.

I would trade both Foye and McCants for OJ Mayo but I'm betting the Grizzlies wouldn't do the deal even if we threw in a first rounder.

McCants should in no way be in at the end of games because he is a liability on field goals and rebounding and his 5-17 shooting got him more minutes than any game this season. It is the second game he has lost for the Wolves by him taking the three thus far but you have to blame the coach who put him in the game at crunch time when he only had a higher 3pt% going into the game 3-18 for 16.6% than the Wolves have in wins (1-7 for 14.3%). I would trust Love to take the 3 a lot more than McCants and Love can rebound whereas McCants has only had 2 rebounds in his last 5 games after getting 7 rebounds in the first two games.

Tonight's game would not have even gone into overtime except for a blunder by McCants and then the coach put him in to play all of the overtime so he could blow the end of the game. The Wolves only needed a two at that time to at least go to a second overtime anyway. Guess he was so confident he could make it.

If college coaches waited 7 games to make radical changes in their rotations their regular season would be 1/3 over and they would end the 21 game season 3-18.

People talk about taking 5 or 6 years to whip a young team in shape. NBA coaches should try coaching a junior college where players aren't good enough to be concerned about them leaving for the NBA after one season but they only have players for two seasons to build a team and lose half of the previous years players every year and they don't have 82 games to do it.

I may be masochistic, but I'm glad Rashad and Foye got their shot attempts, they get more involved in other aspects of the game when they do, though I'd rather maybe 15-20% or so of their attempts be under Miller's stat line.

I can't punish Rashad too much for being so aggressive when he had 7 FT attempts and the entire starting lineup had 3 combined. I'd ask that he look for the drive and dish more though, we have 3 big men that can finish, and I'd also ask that he look for that mid-range game more than the long range game, because he seems pretty solid when he gets in that 15-17 foot area. When he's bombing from 20 feet and beyond and trying to finish at the rim, that's when he starts accumulating mass misses.

Foye looked nice, he had some very good plays, it's unfortunate that his 3 towards the end of regulation went in and out like that.

I liked what Madsen brought to the table against the Blazers, but he only played couple minutes this time. Probably just the matchups, hope he plays next game.

Wow, this one was flat out depressing. ONE freakin point in the last like 7 minutes?! That's flat out unacceptable.

Seriously, this is COACHING! I don't wanna hear about how Foye or McCants mess things up or how this team can't play defense. Take away the Sacto games and this team has blown 5 potential wins by just looking lost, doing dumb things, or running horrible plays. I am UTTERLY DONE WITH WITTMAN!!!! I want him gone NOW! He CAN'T COACH, he CAN'T MAXIMIZE TALENT, he CAN'T DO DECENT SUBSTITUTIONS!!!!! I WANT HIM OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew, okay, I'm done with that portion of my rant, but seriously, when a team blows this many close games, to me it comes down to coaching. All this time he's been hatin on McCants but now all of a sudden when we needed some stops after getting a 9 point lead, he keeps Brew on the bench and leaves in McCants to put up shots too quickly? Why no Love? Craig had it going early, but these are moments when we need to see what Love can bring. I mean, seriously people, at what point do we say enough is enough? I'm so fed up right now, pissin me off to no end right now.

If Mccants makes either the difficult lay up that three for the win which he barely missed from deep you all love him and say see ythat why he should get minutes. But he misses the shots and yall are throwing him under the bus.

How about Wittman **** rotations?,
How about Foye not being able to guard anyone? and you think mccants defense is bad Foye make me want to vomit numerous times. He is not careful with the ball on offense either.

When mccants was in he was guess what on their best player and he hung with him for most of the night.

Some snipets from Jerry Zgoda's blog after the game:
All kinds of things can be debated:

That zone Nellie slapped on the Wolves in those final seven minutes that Randy Wittman, Randy Foye and none of the other Wolves could solve

How long does it take this team to figure out a zone defense?

Al Jefferson never scored in the game’s final 13 minutes, took only one shot in that time and left the locker room without talking to reporters except for saying, “I’m outta here,” after everybody but him shot the ball and missed (12 of their final 13 in the fourth).

This can't be good.

Kevin Love playing all of the third quarter, when the Wolves outscored Golden State 37-25, and then not playing another minute after that while Ryan Gomes, Craig Smith, McCants, Foye and Jefferson played down the stretch.

More Wittman coaching genius.

After all that, this is probably the most important thing: You don’t make moves like the Wolves did last summer — moves that were supposed to make them noticeably better — and start 1-6 with a murderous schedule between now and Thanksgiving — without someone getting blamed. So who’s it going to be first: The coach? Kevin McHale and his staff? Or a significant player or players?

Something’s going to happen. The question is who and when?

Wittman please and the sooner the better.

I thought Shad and Foye played decent games. At least shad will take it to the rack? Most of you seem to forget how well foye played after bassy went down. Once he took over the point last year we turned into a .400 ball club from a .200 ball club. Far to fickle. Let these kids go.

Brewer has looked good, Love too.

imo Your guards need to be willing to take those types of shots near the end of the game especially with al down low who can get the offensive board if it is a miss when they send 2 out to the perimeter to pressure the guard.

I'm not satisfied by the offensive genius down the stretch, nor the rotations most of the game. The wolves have kept all of these games close, I can't complain about that, but a ton of this seems to be lineup driven. Al + gomes/cookie is just a bad idea. Can't seem to get miller a shot either.

Wtf happened to last year when they preached to us, we are gonna run. We are young, blablabla. You don't see any of that this year.
