I'd do it, I really wanted Livingston back in the offseason. Then sign Marvin Williams to replace Marion when he leaves. Maybe try to put McCants in there and include a late 1st instead of Gomes, or Smith if Gomes is the deal breaker.

While this offer probably is a fair amount for the value we could get out of the deal (since Marion is nothing more than an expiring here), since he's also a decent player, a contender could offer more. Also, MIA would probably prefer to let him walk rather than look at a deal with Cardinal, since they can then be far enough under the salary cap to bring in Boozer, who has a home in Miami.

I still think its likely that MIA feels too much pressure to win this season, and ends up trading Marion -- which is bad news for us, since we have their pick. However, I suspect a Marion trade won't be to a non-contender.
