But hey, if its Shaddy and a second rounder youve got a deal!!! :)

The Wolves won't be able to trade these picks for a hill of beans. Subtract 15 spots off where the pick is currently, and that's the value if we are lucky.

Can Randolph really play point forward? A guy that big playing point forward has to draw comparisons to Lamar Odom, and I don't see Randolph right now with Lamar's ball-handling skills.

don't you think he could dribble the ball inbounds or do the occasional pass to the ref or to a teammate on the bench?

I remember reading an interesting article about him and all of the turmoil that's going on within the Warriors organization. I found it again, so I'll quote a couple of parts.

Sources also say rookie phenom Anthony Randolph, who some believe has the talent to one day be among the league's top 10 players, has been told he's not fitting in and could be dealt.

Yes, Randolph is 19 and plays with crazy rambunctiousness that results in silly fouls and ugly turnovers. But he also routinely makes plays -- blocked shots, crushing putback dunks and acrobatic drives -- that are beyond any other Warrior's capability. People within the organization talk about him the way they did Webber, as a singular talent capable of someday making the team a title contender. According to a half-dozen scouts and GMs, he has the potential to nudge out Derrick Rose as the best player in his draft class.

All of that remains to be seen, of course. But I like him a whole lot and would be all for acquiring him.

Yes Anthony Randolph is another player with huge potential, and I think he could definitely get there. That draft is sooooooo deep.

Draft day trade!

I'd probably take Randolph over most of the players this year. If MN falls outside the top 3 I'd probably just try a swap honestly. Or if we get the #1(griffin), Randolph & GSW pick for it? This draft seems so big heavy up front with lots of decent guards available later. so meh?

I'd probably just settle for Derozan though.

As always, GSW posters here treat their newest pick like he's some kind of basketball god, and they want the moon for him. They have terrific posters, but they have a huge blindspot for projecting their youth. I grew tired of hearing how POB, Diogu and others were all so great, long after it was apparent to the other 29 teams who they were. It makes me not trust GSW's ability to judge talent. they have their successes, but according to most GSW fans none of the offers presented here would be even close.

Hmm, perhaps, but... I think fair value for the kid is a pick in the 7-12 range.

Hmm. If we did shrink's DAL/TOR deal, we could swing the TOR pick to GSW for Randolph. :D

The way GSW fans talk about him, the only player on our team they'd consider trading Randolph for is Al.

The current situation seems to be he's not being traded, there was something alleged and it's not the case. In a sense nobody is ever totally untouchable but he won't be a "bargain",in that he's got a lot of talent. And yeah..he has pretty good handles. I would not call him a "point F" yet. But he's be a real long SF with nice skills.
CENSORED... No comment.
