Target Center

Post#1 » by cmc32124 » Sat Jan 24, 2009 6:16 pm

I live in Michigan so im not at the games, but the games i watch on league pass seem like they are a lot more crowded lately. Is this true or am i just seeing things. I figured id ask here because i know some of you go to the games. So is it a lot more crowded at the target center lately, or not?

Winning helps.

Yes it's been considerably more packed. MN's a bandwagon state.

I hate bandwagon! I'm a born Packers fan and I bring that loyalty to the wild, wolves and twins. I wish fans here we more passionate rather then fashionable.

A solid loyal fanbase doesnt usually exist where a franchise doesnt have some sort of winning tradition so until we contend for several years maybe win a ship or two we will have to accept being a bandwagon team.

I'm sure the fans still exist when the Wolves are struggling, but who wants to lay $200 down on a game and watch the Wolves get stomped - wow so fun! I don't even like watching the games on TV for free when they're getting there asses kicked, I sure as hell don't want to pay their exorbitant fees to watch it in person.

I can't think of many franchises in any sports that sell out when their squad is a joke. Even the Knicks faced it.
