12 sounds about right. I don't think Bibby is going to sign a long term deal for 8-9 per. If Atlanta plays hardball with him, he might end up on a one year contract and hope for a payday the following year. If we do trade Miller and Cardinal for expirings, hopefully someone else makes a play for Bibby. Wouldn't be surprised if Detroit renounces both Wallace and Iverson. Not sure if Bibby would be their #1 target though.

Indiana has his qualifying offer next year at like 2.9mil, I think they'll most likely pick that up, won't they?

I figure with the amount of PGs in the draft and the Pacers having very little cap space (right?) they might let him go.

The rumors of him being related to Captain Jack and actually being a pirate disguised as an NBA point guard proved to be false. Or is that "arrrghhhh" with an "A"?

But yeah, my thoughts exactly. If we're looking for a point guard, which we should be, I hope it's with the intent of finding our point guard of the future, which Jarret Jack is kind of at his peak already. I don't see him making big strides. Our best best is probably in the draft for point guards.

What about making an offer for Kleiza instead of Williams or maybe Moon.

My thinking is we'll get a quality C or PG with our pick, and we pick up someone else with our 2nd.
Ideally IMO we get Thabeet and Maynor.

Then we will try to sign a SF, and I think it will be one of those 3,

So, what are people's opinion on Kleiza and Moon as T-Wolves next year.

Moon isn't all that young and is known to make bone head plays. I would rather just resign Carney than go with Moon.

I would be all for taking Kleiza from the Nuggets.

Moon, eh, does nothing for me. I'm not the biggest Jamario expert, but he seems like a hustle player, and that's about it. Those are a dime a dozen.

Kleiza definitely has talent, I like him, plus he looks like Kevin Love so the other team would be confused on who's guarding who. Plus their initials are opposites. COINCIDENCE!? I THINK NOT! But I get the impression that he is what he is and won't ever get any better. How's his defense? If his defense isn't good we should look elsewhere.

I hope we just do not spend the money simply to spend it. Target some guys you like. If they do not work then save the cap space for a trade or future free agent.

Anyone else feel like signing Gomes this summer may have been a mistake, based on the directions this team can go?

I thought it was a mistake at the time. Smith, too. But what do I know? I guess they are both tradable at least.

Gomes not so much, but I feel that way with Cookie. I do like Gomes, but I think he fits better as a bench guy.

They are both tradeable. Smith's contract is only for one more year. We can get out of Gomes' contract after next year as well. Both are solid tradeable players - don't think either of them can really be considered a mistake. If we really really want to obtain 09 FA, either of them could be traded for expirings fairly easily.

Gomes was a great signing, I want him to be our 6th man.

Smith I ont care about either because it was only a 2 yr contract
