he'd probably want the Dunleavy role; GM/coach

I wouldn't do that though

Consider the source and lose all hope.

College coaches seem to struggle unless they have pro experience. The pro game is a different monster. Very different. The Diva issues seem to be a key concern which is why teams are hiring former players.

My first hope for this summer is a legit front office with vision. After that I am willing to be patient. A legit front office will target a non-country club coach.

I want a new school GM. Someone like Morey or Presti. Then let them hire whatever coach they want.

Anybody have any reccomendations for up and coming gm candidates?

Exactly. Blow the front office up and give us a new GM and management. We need direction and focus.

David Morey---http://www.canishoopus.com/2008/12/19/697745/executive-search-david-mor

Dennis Lindsey---http://www.canishoopus.com/2008/12/31/702079/executive-search-dennis-li

Chris Grant---http://www.canishoopus.com/2009/1/22/729470/executive-search-chris-gra

I tend to lean toward Dennis Lindsey. I like some of the things I have read about the Shane/Gay trade. But I agree that a new Gm is the first key.
