Rose is a nice talent, Griffin is a BEAST...of course, in reality the Bulls wouldn't trade Rose for anyone not on the All-NBA First Team (also consider his home town ties), but for the sake of discussion, I have to agree with the CHI poster that I would give up Rose for Griffin, contra the rest of this thread...

lol Rose isn't going anywhere and the Bulls would laugh at that deal.

Seeing as it didn't come from the trade board and acutally I was the one who would say it, I will clarify.

Yes, I said I would trade Rose for Griffin. I thought about it, and changed my mind like 30 minutes later. I then watched the NCAA tourney and was completely sure Griffin isn't worth Rose. No way. They aren't in the same league. I think Griffin can be a multiple-All Star game level PF if he maxes out while Rose maxes out as a top 10 player in the league.

I think its like Amare for Deron Williams (if both max out potential) and I said hey, it would make sense as a basketball sense for the downgrade for the upgrade in the post and the fact Kirk Hinrich is still a good, solid PG.

But you should know: the Bulls aren't trading Rose, NO ONE on the board currently believes Rose should be traded for anyone except the untradeable guys and the fans are quite happy with his play. I was really playing devils advocate to a scenario. Sorry for the time you guys have spent debating it.

The thread actually came from Ray Allen Iverson, in an attempt to balance the CHI roster.

And I'll point out that from the very first post, I said that I thought Rose > Griffin, but I was curious what else Wolves fans would add to make that trade.

Really?? It's kinda fun if you're around the right group of people - and if you know yourself well enough to know that you're not going to do something stupid. It's probably worth trying someday. An added plus is it does make the Timberwolves easier to watch.

Are you sure about that? I don't think I've ever watched the Wolves sober, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

I think I've enjoyed it both ways. When they suck like now, it is better drunk. I like turning it into a drinking game. Like everytime Miller quickly drives to the lane and kicks it the other direction I take a drink, everytime Telfair begs for a call to the refs I take a drink, everytime Foye takes a shot that has two or more seconds of hangtime I take a drink .... Also, being drunk helps make hockey watchable.
