Brewer is number 6, 8, 5, 7, 6, 7, 4, 6, 11*, 7, 7, 6, 6, 7,7,4

So on June 9th before the draft only one of the main media mocks had him outside of the top-10. I think that is the definition of clear-cut.

(*inside hoops was the only one outside the top-10 behind Acie law)

Those aren't lists ranking the players, they're lists projecting when the players will be picked. There's a difference.

And why is that relevant?

What do you mean? I am trying to show that it is too early to give up on Brewer. That he is the better prospect than Carney.

If you disagree with my mock-draft proof, could you provide your proof that he was not considered a top-10 prospect?

I don't care if he was supposed to be the top pick or if he was supposed to go undrafted. Where he was drafted or was supposed to be drafted became irrelevant on June 29th 2007. Obviously he's better than Carney, but where either of them were projected has nothing to do with that.

When did I say that?

Are we arguing for the point of arguing?

You said borderline top-10. Based on what?
I mentioned the draft projections to show that he was considered to be a good talent. And that he still has that potential. Not seeing him all year and having a struggling rookie year makes us forget him.

I said he was borderline top 10, rather than "not considered a top-10 prospect" like you wanted some proof of. I would put him on the good side of that border. But he was in that same group with the Wright's, Noah, Hawes, Young, Thornton, etc. In that 7-12ish range.
