Re: VOTE: Love or Rubio?
Keep Love. No doubt Rubio is talented, but he is going to take a long time to settle in the NBA and get used to the different system. While Love has settled. Plus, the chances of Love staying here long term are a lot better than with Rubio, who will always be tempted to return to Europe. Or go to a bigger market team in the nba. We can’t keep relentlessly trading, there has to be some stability to build chemistry.

I'm calling shenanigans, you thought it was odd I proposed a Love trade to Memphis

You said the same thing last year about Jefferson for Rose. Does not look goofy now.
Plus I said Jefferson for Rubio+very good value (loosely protected first/Gay)

Re: VOTE: Love or Rubio?
We could get Gay without giving up Jefferson. You can count guys with Als abilities on one hand. How much do we know about Rubios game that you would be willing to give up a proven 20-10 guy for him? There will be more point guards.

I don't understand why are people so opposed to a Memphis-Minnesota trade ideas involving Love or Jefferson. We really can help each other out here. If we can acquire Gay & Rubio (which I find to be realistic), I will listen to that trade even if it involves #6, Love, or Jefferson.

Re: VOTE: Love or Rubio?
I would rather get a proven pg or keep bassy and draft another pg because Rubio might be good might not be and still is not a improvement of shooting the ball at the pg over bassy
And stop with the CRAZY AL for rubio talk
A guy who guy score with his back 2 the basket today is better then a unproven point guard and who ever else is in deal

Rubio and Love?
I think the difference between the two is not much. But if I'll choose between the two, I'll take Rubio because his postion (PG) with a talent like he has, its rare to come in the NBA.
If the TWolves will trade up, why not trade for Griffin instead.

Then why did they turn down a Gay + Conley for Amare deal again? (and before Conley was good)

Re: VOTE: Love or Rubio?
I wouldn't do Love for Rubio. I would do Love for Conley + Gasol, or Love + 18 for Rubio + Gasol though.

I did do that didn't I? I must've slipped into my other personality when I said that.
Before I do any more flip-flopping...
I'm not totally enamored with Rubio. Not enough that I want to trade up/trade for him. If we had landed a top two pick, I would be elated about getting him. But honestly I think Derozan or Evans can be as good a player as Rubio (if Rubio even fills out).
