He is a 5. He can cover 4s if the opposing team has a 4 that plays around the lane.
I bet a frontline with Love and Okafor would set records for the amount of blocked attempts.
If the Bobcats are desperate to save money I would rather go after Wallace, Diaw, or Augustin(with Nazr).

Fair enough point - I should have been clearer.

For the past couple years, there has been sporadic interest in Okafor on these boards. We've never had a defensive presence at C before, and something like that would help Al. However, that salary really, really deters me. You'll note I didn't advocate getting him, and .. shock of all shocks .. shrink didn't create a trade. I am curious what his price is going to be with a contract like that.

I'll keep an eye on this, and Wallace too, and if it looks like the Bobcats are having a fire sale to get their team marketable, I'll let you guys know.

Would have been lovely before they drafts Love. Now, the money has to go to a non-post player.
