Great FIFA Confederations Cup Semi-Final...don't know why, but I woke up this morning excited for this game, despite not watching a soccer game since probably the last world cup, I sat down and watched this one start to finish. SWEET, SWEET game. VERY entertaining one. I thought for sure Spain was going to put a couple in in the 2nd half the way they were pressing, but the American defense, especially Onyewu and Howard, held strong!

Spain hadn't lost an international game of any since late 2006, was on a 15 game winning streak and is currently ranked no. 1 in the world.

Great! Way to upset all of our new MN Lobos amigos from Espana! Once we aquire Rubio what is one of the first things they are going to see, this ugly american thread on soccer

Just an international incident waiting to happen. Now Rubio's people are not going to want him to sign with us, way to ruin the draft! *insert over the top dramatic sigh here*

OH MY GOD! I ruined our chances with Rubio!!

...also...Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey ruined everyone else's chances with Rubio except maybe Toronto...guess that answers the Rubio question, though.

Its just a shame Spain didn't lose earlier so Alonso and Torres could get back to the important stuff of the summer getting in shape for next season at Liverpool.
