i wont shoot the messemger but i will shoot down the article credibility. these s/t deals violate cba rules.

also if ny was negotiating with a player that has his rights belonging to another team it is a huge violation of the joe smith level and donnie walsh knows better.

Bottom Line... he is a Timberwolve...not a Knick.

We don't owe it to anyone to bend over and take it on this. Chandler was a #23 pick and I believe Lee was even later. Knicks have crap players that will not net them a player with the obvious superstar potential of Rubio. Work on a three-way that can net us Oden, Durant, Rose, Harden, Kevin Martin, Roy, and then come back to us.

We can wait .....................................................

Brandon Roy, OJ Mayo, and Kevin Garnett for Rubio.

Why all of these articles about the Knicks trading for Rubio? Have any of these "journalists" taken a gander at the Knicks roster? So typical of modern journalism...

Chandler is worth a late teen pick. We don't need Lee especially with him signing a new deal, he isn't worth a lottery pick.

If we were to trade Rubio to New York, it would be something like
rights to Douglas, Gallinari, Mobley, 2012 1st for rights to Rubio, Songalia, Telfair, Cardinal

do you think the knicks might trade for rubio without our permission? I'd be really miffed at them, but what can you do, they have the statue of liberty

I just heard that Rubio is trying t oink a deal with New York that will sign Minneapolis away to the Knicks for a chipped manhole cover. The logic behind this is that since Rubio and the Timberwolves reside in Minneapolis, the knicks can sign the city and own everything it. On top of that everybody in the city will get huge endorsement deals and media attention. Looks like the U of M is going to be that number 1 research school a little sooner than we thought!

I heard they were going to start using the flesh of midwesterners to sew their "I Love NY" T-shirts, sell the shirts to midwesterner tourists, then kill the tourists to make more t-shirts. Again, what can you do, its the greatest city in the world.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I do think there is a simple recipe for the Knicks to get Ricky. 1) Tank the season wholeheartedly 2) Trade their high 2010 first round pick for Ricky. It's not terribly difficult.
