There is no reason to be shocked. We all knew the buy-out would be a problem. he almost did not declare because of it. I personally believe it is the reason he slipped to 5. Kahn is cool with waiting for him to come over and is preaching a long term vision. We got a rookie in Flynn and will continue to grow and develop, but other gm's might have not been willing to wait.

Rubio is a good kid, he wants minutes and Kahn is on record saying the minute Rubio walks in the door he is our starting pg. He just needs to get the buy-out done.

I'm on board with a Rubio/Flynn backcourt, particularly if Rubio truly is 6'5". Unless a team has LeBron or Kobe, they need at least two playmakers to compete (and even LA has Odom). Even Chris Paul plays off the ball a fair amount for NO, spending a good chunk of the game with a smaller partner in the backcourt. I also expect both to improve their jumpers as time goes on. Even if we play them both 30 mpg or so, that means one of them only has to spend about 10 minutes playing off the ball. I'm not certain that it will work, but it should be enjoyable to watch while we find out.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Gopher, I ws not really attacking you (I mentioned you just because you staretd the thread) more the attitude that wolves fans seem to have most of the time. We got so used to Mchale Being a **** GM that we are allready willing to sell out on Kahn
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

We had four #1 picks and six overall to help remake our team and we only come out of it with one position addressed and now have a gapping whole at SG?

Are we really better off with Rubio/Flynn/fut 1st/3 dead weights vs Flynn/Lawson and Foye/Miller?

Yes we are and u are forgetting we drafted Ellington.
