rev, I know you've been around a while, but welcome back! I missed seeing posts like this from you.

NY crap? Sure, they are full of it. I don't see Rubio of Flynn headed their way because they have no assets.

No Basis? What would have no basis? They are both poor shooters? True. They both are not set up to be superior defenders? True. The fact that teams have not shown to be successful starting 2 PG's(let alone 2 rookies, and young ones at that) True.

I'm sorry I haven't wasted my time looking through all of the threads mocking your pick so that I didn't overlap what they said. Perhaps if so many people are saying something it could have some merit. Rather than being a dismissive ass why don't you tell me why this situation will work? Appreciate it.

Does he need to be anything other than a dismissive ass to a jackass who comes onto our team forum and repeats a bunch of terrible arguments from Knicks and Clippers fans? I'm feeling ok about it.

Just for fun, both players have shown that they are solid defenders with potential to be really good defenders. Flynn is not a poor shooter, go look up some friggin' stats before you come in here repeating incorrect information.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Obviously you have not read up on any background information.

Rubio can defend as shown by his Spanish ACB League Defensive Player of the Year (2009). He had 6 steals in 2 games vs the US in the olympics. If you recall he was defending Chris Paul and Deron Williams.

Flynn is above average shooter who will improve, his weakness is the three, not the midrange.
