That's a good point. They're capped out now and still don't seem like a lock for the playoffs. Is their roster any better than Chicago's? Than Charlotte's? Than Philladelphia's? Than Indiana's (w/ Dunleavy back)? If so, not by much.

They have a lot of offensive talent, but a lot of that's going to go to waste without a true point guard.

I did, actually.

"My god what you've just done isn't very good. Gordon was overpaying for a pretty good player. Charlie was WAY overpaying for an ok player. Neither player fit all that well. I feel your pain, guys. I really like both these guys you've just signed, but not the amounts you've signed them to."

not sure that's consoling them so much as it's running up to an accident scene and jarring the doors shut so the victims can't escape, but either way it's all good for me
