POINT GUARDS

Andre Miller, Philadelphia
nah............

Jason Kidd, Dallas
Happy 40th birthday Jason

Raymond Felton, Charlotte*
we don't need a PG

Ramon Sessions, Milwaukee*
He will be murdered in a gang fight by Jennings in the next few weeks in the battle of Bucks' starting PG job

Nate Robinson, New York*
will effectively decrease the wolves backcourt avg height, i know, it sounds impossible, but he is capable of doing so, so, nah

Jarrett Jack, Indiana*
simply a no, Indiana is commiting to him since they did not draft Jrue Holliday

----------------------------------------------

SHOOTING GUARDS

Ben Gordon, Chicago
Detroit-bound

Allen Iverson, Detroit
he doesnt want to come here when KG was here, now he's a few years older and KG is gone....you figure the rest

Wally Szczerbiak, Cleveland
IF he ever returns, he will be the next Mark madson, fan favorite, 1 mpg, no other stats

----------------------

SMALL FORWARDS

Hedo Turkoglu, Orlando
Toronto offers him 12/yr, Jefferson makes a little bit more than that

Ron Artest, Houston
he will demands more than Hedo

Rasheed Wallace, Detroit
again, we can't afford him

Shawn Marion, Toronto
interesting, but might be a bit too expensive still

Trevor Ariza, L.A. Lakers
I'd love to have him, but we are going to be competing against the Lakers, aka the bankers....

Josh Childress, Atlanta*
How's Europe Josh?

Jamario Moon, Miami
slasher, not much of a outside game so no

Lamar Odom, L.A. Lakers
would be a good fit, but we can't afford him, i guess

-------------------------

POWER FORWARDS

Anderson Varejao, Cleveland
Maybe we can sign him as our center? as long as he doesnt demand more than the MLE thats fine

Charlie Villanueva, Milwaukee
see Ben Gordon comment

Chris Andersen, Denver
Denver's top priority, not a good fit to wolves anywayz

Paul Millsap, Utah*
gonna get big bucks, we can't afford him, plus he's a poorman's jefferson

David Lee, New York*
yikes, his name reminds me Rubio somehow....are they linked?

Linas Kleiza, Denver*
would love to have him aboard

0----------------------------------------
CENTERS

Marcin Gortat, Orlando*
I think wolves should make a run on him using our MLE

Rasho Nesterovic, Indiana
bye trasho

-------------------------------------------------
WOLVES FREE AGENTS

Rodney Carney
I think the wolves should give him another shot, re-sign him please!

Shelden Williams
take care of Candice for us!

your thought? any of them you think we should pursue?

Other than a s/t for maybe a Marvin Williams I do not want to spend money on role players. We are not at that stage yet.

A list of players that may be available for the minimum is more appropriate.

I am with rev, the only money I can see worthe spending is on Marvin Williams. He is still very young, a sf/pf hybrid and still has great potential.

Gortat will get too much money. We can try the MLE, but it won't be enough. Kleiza would be interesting if we don't get Marvin.

Kleiza will probably get overpaid, and wouldn't be a real starter anyway. I know I'm a bit biased, but the only guy I'd want to make a move for is Marvin, he would be our long term starter and a great addition to the young core.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

with crawford replacing bibby, I think there is no way atlanta lets williams go at this point.
gortat is overrated, he will be exposed when he has to play more than 10 minutes.
Moon is an above average defender, and was a good outside shooter a couple of years ago,
but got buried in toronto last year. I'd take a chance on him for cheap, but Miami wants him back as a RFA.

if we signed zoolander we could team him with rubio for the "male model" backcourt.

bringing carney back depends on if rubio comes over.
If he does I'd like to roll with a 3-man rotation of ricky/johnny/wayne.
If not carney could split minutes with wayne.
all this assumes brewer plays only at sf, splitting time with gomes.

I like Trevor Ariza or Marvin Williams if we can afford either we should persue them because they are both pretty young. Ariza brings some great experience with him at such an age. and he is good.

Now that Marquis Daniels hasn't been tendered, I'd look at him for the vet min, or a bit more. Other than that, I agree on Carney, Kleiza and Varejao. Doubt we'll be able to reel in either of the latter two though.

Yeah I was expecting cheap wings.

Daniels will get alot more than the vet min. I like Kleiza but he isn't a good fit with Gomes already on the roster. Varejao wants way too much money.

Our only chance at a foundational piece is in a S/t. We will not waste money or contract length on a roll player at this stage.

No reason to sign any FA's this year. Maybe if young UDFA out of nowhere wows on the summer league team, but that's it.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
