You have 24 hours to cite this to a legit report otherwise I will request your suspension for trolling.

I want Rubio saying...

1.) He is not going to play in MN this year, or ever
2.) He does not want to be here
3.) It is not about his buy-out
4.) he would report immediately to NY

You have until 5pm Central time Friday.

Or you can admit to being a parrot and GTFO my forum.

I agree to a point but put it is not so black and white. If he was chosen as a 2nd pick like he assumed he was for almost a year, he would be able to pay his buyout and have some left over. With being picked 5th he is basically breaking even before you total any endorsements. Personally, I would be just fine living off what these sports players make in endorsements alone. But in the end it is not my money, so I can not blame him for not wanting to jump the gun to play for free for two years.

I can cite sources that your GM sucks

Check the draft picks

Check the story of Rubio staying in Europe.

The End.

The thing is. If Rubio needed so desperately to be a top three pick, then why the hell DIDN'T he work out and try his damndest to impress the top three teams. You can't just sit on your cloud while everybody else is working and expect to have the NBA cater to you.

The ONLY reason he would play immediately for the Knicks compared to waiting a year or two with the Timberwolves is because of the possibility of more endorsement deals. It has nothing to do with the Knicks and their ****hole organization.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. When training camp starts and he hasn't stated his intention to be a Wolf, then we can complain.

And remember, if he comes in 2 years, that means we get him on a rookie deal until he is 24. This is much better than him being able to leave at 22, right as his body begins filling out.

I think the buyout is one of the main problems, we should give him his 2 years and see if he wants to come over then. We could always trade him in 2 years for a high pick (Rubio would only be 20) + (in 2 years we should be ready to compete and we would know exactly what we needed on our team)

back to the original post of "Sometimes I wish"...

That Spree and Sam (and Hassell) would not have been basket cases following the Western Conference finals run...then maybe Flip and KG would still be here and who knows what would have happened!

Then again we still had that "amazing" GM...so who knows!
