That's not Patrick Ewing, that's some fat impostor w/ a flat top wig

So it must be the same impostor that played for the Magic and now is on their coaching staff.

Minny gets a bit colder than those East coast towns (but Chicago is worse for wind chill)
You SHOULD have kept the killer moose thing a secret....... :o

Push the trampy strippers angle though....trampy is in. I'd counterattack...No ALLIGATORS.no GRIDLOCK,no Earthquakes/Hurricanes/Sandstorms/and just a few tiny tornados. FAR less driveby shootings than LA. Far fewer gangs than Chicago. Fewer scorpions than Phoenix.

The "shoe contract" stuff really applies to..what.....15 players? 20? For the main guys..they are global...not local..no matter what the hacks say. KG had LOTS of commercials when in Minny...LeBron has the most. Hell...Tiger Woods plays everywhere and nowhere but has WAY more Advert power than Eddy Curry. Be a STAR...WIN.....Have a PERSONALITY.....that's what sells it.

Exactly. Getting endorsement contracts has nothing to do with where you play. It has everything to do with your star potential. Rubio is young, Spanish, has floppy hair that will appeal to the girls, and has a flamboyant playing style. He will have no problem making money here or anywhere else.

P.S. Ricky, if you are reading this thread, the moose in Minnesota are dying off because of climate change (not that there are any anywhere near the Twin Cities anyway).

P.P.S. No poisonous snakes either.

It´s a pity that Regular Season doesn't play in summer.

As I say before I´m from Spain and Minnesota like me very much. I don't worry if I'd had to live there. Anyway I understand players that prefers another places But I think a rookie must not worry about the place he go, he must worry about the team and, of course, to learn.

Milwaukee understands you Minnesota.
The thing is a lot of these NBA players are babies. They just want to go to warm weather cities with lush night clubs and women. They don't care about beautiful lakes and nice outdoors stuff to do. Plus they want to go to a winner. They all want to go ride the coattails of another star to a championship.
Do you honestly think if Lebron wasn't in Cleveland that Shaq would even consider playing there? That place is worse then Detroit.

I think Detroit's only real competition is East St. Louis and maybe Baltimore, but Cleveland is admittedly pretty bad.

Never been to St Louis, Cleveland or Detroit, but B-More is certainly a real $&!%hole, been there twice for close to a week each time and I stayed in the hood.
Made Newark look beautiful.
