I grew up in Ohio...moved to California as soon as I was done with HS. I live in N Cal and wet wet winters when it drops to 30 are dreadful.....but winter is just about 2 months. Odd..one winter I went back to Ohio in Feb...and what I noticed was it didn't feel much colder but INDOORS...they turn it up to 80? I'm used to cool nights..It's near July and I have my wool lumberjack shirt on. I expected to be too cold in the midwest in winter..and it was too HOT (indoors)

Yea, I don't think people realize how hot it really gets down here. The humidity makes our 85 degrees feel like 110 degrees.
