I don't agree with this.

Smith had no future on our team.
Madson has no future on any team.

Telfair I still feel is young, still improving and would make a great backup point guard in the future. Another year in our system would have seen his stats continue to improve and his decision making and shooting would also improve allowing us to cash in on him next year in a S@T to a contender who needs a change of pace guard of the bench.

I think we gave up on him too early.

Although I realise I'm in the minority here of course.

"Our system" has also changed with coach, so he wouldn't have another year in our system. He'd be adjusting to a new system. If Rubio were to come over, Telfair would get zero minutes.
Thirdly, you don't get much in a sign and trade for a backup guard. The team is better off consolidating the cap space in hope of getting an impact player.

Alas, the Rubio thread is version 2. It's got an additional 99 pages somewhere.

Meh, without Rubio (who I dont personally think will be here) we are gonna miss telfair alot more then people realise...

Bobby Brown... dear god
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

You can find guys like Telfair every year. I have hard time seeing anything worth missing. I'm not sure he's any better than Kevin Ollie. The thing with Rubio is if he comes over, Telfair had to go. If the Wolves had waited, there's no guarantee they could have had a traded him for the extra cap space. This is as good of a deal as they were going to get for him. If Rubio doesn't come over, the trade hurts the team this year but I think it's a risk they had to take.
As far as Bobby Brown, he's only spent one year in NBA and Kings fans seemed to think he had potential. There's some hope that he'll get better.

Sounds perfect for this team. If we are going to be in the lottery we might as well be pushing for a top-5 pick.

Flynn is in good shape...give him 40 minutes a game... :)
