The Suns picked 14th (last in the lottery). The Suns didn't make the playoffs. Steve Nash is 35.

You need to pick a new angle. You're not smart enough to pull off the condescending thing.

Merely emphasizing that the Suns are now a lottery team. No reason to be hostile, I understand your all emotional right now, but that's alright because the first step is admitting you have a problem.

I have a take, but thought I would offer you valuable advice instead. You play the douche-bag angle quite well, but again, you're a little lacking in the IQ department to be doing the condescending thing. So maybe you just want to switch to the douche-bag thing full-time? Just trying to help out here.

Looks like I'll be attending:
11/27 vs. Phoenix
12/26 vs. Washington
2/27 @ Washington

And maybe

12/20 @ Boston

Which is ridiculous - the ESPN game is the day after Thanksgiving. I'll be in the Cities anyway, and I'll go to the game. Not only that, but the game I'll be able to see when I'm home for Christmas - 12/26 vs. Wizards - is the same team as the away game I'll be going to, 2/17 @ Wizards. Bah.

I'm just glad that Sarver is not our owner. Look at how his penny pinching ways made the Suns and Steve Kerr look like a team going nowhere. I also wonder, how many more nationally televised game we could've had if we had already known for sure the Rubio is already coming to the T'wolves.

Good point, and welcome to the boards.

Dime Magazine had this to say about Rubio:

Dime wrote: Whenever he gets to the NBA, Rubio should be a media beast (if, like the article says, he plays well). Even if he’s still playing in Spain this season, you have to imagine some forward-thinking U.S.-based companies will want to get on the train early when he’s looking for them and before he’s in a position to reject offers

It seems to me that Rubio has gotten more national press than any player picked this season, though #1 Blake Griffin may be close. Whenever Rubio gets here, he's going to help this team, more than just on the court.

Making the playoffs means jack if you can't do anything in them. We had a similar problem with 7 first round exits in a row. That's why we kept completely retooling the team around Garnett, to try and make a team to win the championship. If you're not in it to win it get out.

Wow, to be actually complemented and welcomed by the legendary Shrink! What an honor! Can I use your quote as my signature? (Really liked reading your Cap Savings Trade always lol) Anyways, I'm actually already a long time lurker here and it was about time, I got my lazy ass to make an account and try to be active here.

By picking Rubio, Kahn essentially gave the Timberwolves the national exposure it lacked since Kevin Garnett went to the Celtics. The Timberwolves upped their nationnaly televised game by 1 this year I think. I'm not from Minnesota or the US even, so watching any Timberwolves game is really a rare thing for me to watch on TV.

Ya shrink and Dalvin I expect more press when Rubio arrives as well. I'm hoping that Jonny Flynn will bring some too at least for next year. I think we had a really good draft in that we drafted talented players, but marketable ones as well. We could really use that with the kinds of losses I'm sure Taylor has been absorbing the last few years.

 mnWI, are you much of a Zach Galifianakis fan? You're description of DirtyDez reminded me of his "pretentious illiterate" character.

Yeah, this guy needs to just start throwing out a lot of malapropisms to complete the picture.

I LOVE ZACH G.

Never heard of him until now to be honest with you. Gave up a lot of my free time when I chose to work in basketball, so I haven't even been to a movie theater in about 2 years. I'll check out the youtube stuff though, looks pretty funny.

I was thinking about this game. Some things guaranteed to be brought up:

1. The Al for Amare rumor from this offseason.
2. Jackson one of the final three candidates.
3. Update on Ricky Rubio / Comparison to Steve Nash.
4. Jonny Flynn is good.
5. Al Jefferson deserves to be an All-Star.
