Update: In my final game, I struggled from the field, only scoring 2 points on 1-6 shooting.

However, it was easily my best game of the combine. How so, you ask? Only because I grabbed a measly 19 REBOUNDS!!!!!

Has anyone pulled off an off the back board alley oop yet? I did one in scrimmage, it was satisfying to say the least.

im already bored of it, I just want to play 2k10.

2 things of potential:
rebounding shows signs of improvment (had a 19/15 first game w/ my center)
computer cant cheese on their passing, in 2k9 they throw bullet passes right by your non reacting defender to cutters, thats probably the single stupidest thing about 2k9 is the ridiculous passes the computer throws. Im talking 40 foot over the shoulder alley oops to Peja Stojakovic, garbage like that

Is the 6 games and drills all you can do other than the scrimages and stuff?

Finally got around to getting Bioshock. I beat it in about three days, and thinking of playing it again to upgrade my guy all the way.

Also, thinking of getting Fallout 3 once I get enough money to set aside for it. Is it worth buying? And is it a game where I can keep upgrading my player and not have to follow a set storyline?

Yea, if you are finished you can upload him to the 2K servers so he will be there for 2K10. If you want to try another player I think you can either erase your current one or you can create a new xbox 360 profile real quick and start a different guy on there. I have two guys I am playing with, my center and this SF I created. The center will be the one I upload and the SF is there for fun.

If you upload him and erase him, is he still on the servers then?

I played Batman, the intro to that game is fantastic. I'm going to really start the game for real today.

the Batman reviews are great and I thought about picking it up, but I think gamespot said there was going to be PS3 exclusive content and that crap turns me off. Enough with the DLC, if you have something in mind, put it in the game. Its time to take a stand against these kind of games. Any review that mentions the game is too short, I'm not buying, I don't care how awesome the gameplay is. Make a full game, and add onto that, don't intentionally cut things out of the game specifically to sell later, thats total BS.

on that note I skipped Batman and Madden 2010 at the vid store and I picked up Far Cry 2 for the low low price of $26.99. Great game, can't wait to go home and keep playing it.

I still have Bioshock, haven't touched it for a long time. Some puzzle **** that I got sick of, hate games of find the lever, I usually can't find the lever or button or stupid switch under a box, so instead I find the power button to the 360 because thats bright and green.

try to find a used copy of Fallout, no reason to be paying 50 or 60 bucks after all this time.
You don't have to follow the storyline, there' s a bunch of side missions and just about everything you do earns experience. The only add on I'd get is Broken Steel because its apart of the main game and raises your level cap from 20 to 30 and adds bunch of nice weapons and armor

The new guy I'm putting through the combine is a 6'6 200 lb all-around SF.

Has anyone tried a Mugsy-type? Thats my next planned one. Either that or Ben Woodside.

I still have to finish my first guy. I do got a 6'5" SF on another profile though. I think I like being a center more.

New preview for NBA 2K10. I really enjoyed this one, who knew ESPN could write such a good preview? There is even yet another shot at the wolves in this one. Read on.

Fallout 3 has a Game of the year edition coming out sometime before Christmas for Xbox and PC that will include the original game and all 5 DLC's for $60 (I think 60). Thats a real good deal, Fallout 3 is worth 60 IMO and all the DLC's are $10 or so each, this might be your best bet if you are looking to get Fallout 3. The game is so sick.

Rev can we just start the new thread already? Or do you want to wait until the page turns?

A couple of month before release of the new game I frequent those boards.
