Start over.

Re: Good Trade Idea
Value wise it could be argued that it isn't that far off, but neither team would EVER EVER EVER agree to it. Jefferson has been converted to a center, more or less, and Aldridge in PDX can't really play center (nor can Love really). Putting Rubio and Fernandez together would be nice, but that isn't done here either. Fit doesn't work and this would likely start another valuation war between both fan bases.
Hard to get an accurate honest value of all the players and here are the criticsims on them. Oden (hasn't had a full healthy season, not saying he can't, but needs more time to come ot a true valuation), Rubio (gone for a few years and not as athletic and still has to develop, jumpshot especially), Jefferson (people outside of MN fear his coming back from surgery), Fernandez (one year, limited minutes to this point), and Love (athletic enough? can he finish well enough? has he found his outside shot?).
Everyone has formulated opinions on them, nothing is assured, and when dealing with young players/prospects, fans love their own and not as much on others until they become their own.
Plus you have the other arguments as to who plays what position and certain positions having more value. Etc, etc. I don't see much agreement from either side and people within either side on this one.

The guy they'd want to trade is Blake for a solid PF. I suggested a Blake/Songalia trade with them and they said no. We look like we should be good trade partners, but really we're not.

Re: Good Trade Idea
lol why don't you also list the "win-now" Portland line-up this season:
Love/Pryzibills
Alderidge/Songaila
Outlaw/Batum
Roy/Webster/Jaric
Miller/Blake/Bayless
so for this season they basically traded Oden and Fernandez for Love and Songaila
doesnt look like a win-now team's decision

Re: Good Trade Idea
Um, so the two high post guys are on one team and the two low post guys are on the other? Seems backwards. Weird...
