I mean, as a rookie, if Flynn gets 30 mpg, that's a big jump in workload from college, and I doubt they go much higher than that. That leaves Sessions most of the remainder and then maybe 15 mpg at SG; not because he's a spectacular SG, but because we don't have much else there. So they were only going to see something like 10 minutes together at most anyway.

I'd like to see Ellington start getting some more burn at SG, myself. The DNPs don't exactly show us if he has any promise against NBA players.

Sessions played about half his minutes at SG last year.

In the latter part of the season especially he was the starter.

He was #10 in Wins Produced and #12 in PER at PG and would have been higher at SG.

Yes, because like the Wolves this year, the bucks had nobody else to play SG. Notice how successful that team was.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Rubio is bigger and a better shooter. No need to freak out. The season is very young and the players need to learn each other. All Rambis said is it looks ugly now.

I think this at least means we won't be drafting Warren anytime soon.

Warren's more of a shooting guard. I think the problem with the Flynn-Sessions combo isn't just size, it's that they're both pure point guards.

I don't think I'd call Flynn a pure point guard. He definitely isn't a shooting guard that's for sure.

I don't think Rambis is able to make the call on Rubio yet. I still have hope that the Flynn-Rubio starting back court will fly.

If you thought we were playing small ball read this...

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/62162/20091016/warriors_playing_acie_law_at_small_forward/

The Warriors are planning to play some serious small ball this season.

Golden State coach Don Nelson told the San Francisco Chronicle that Acie Law, who is 6'3" and 202 pounds, will see a majority of his minutes at small forward.

"He's a natural there. He's just small," Nelson said. "But I think that's about the only spot I have unless there's an injury or something."

kahn said many things, and I have translated them here ----->

"we're going to play two point guards like some teams did 20 years ago"...meaning: we won't play two point guards for any significant amount of time
"ricky is a transformational player that will start immediately when he decides to come over"...meaning: ricky will bust in europe, be traded, or come to minnesota once jonny fails
"we're going to be a running team that runs all the time"...meaning: we will create the illusion of a fun, running team until a few more $5 seats are sold

Well, he's 6 ft tall and averaged almost 7 assists per game in college. I guess it depends on your definition of pure, but he's all point guard.
