Gomes with a 19-7-2 on 8-10 shooting. Nice.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Bet you never thought you would say that this year. :)

I own/drive the Brewer bandwagon. If anyone else wants on...

I want in, I'll even sit back-middle.

I met Brewer and Gomes this summer in a bar the night before their basketball clinic up north. They were both really nice guys. I could tell they just wanted some female attention and/or a night off, but were really cool towards me anyway. After some mild conversation with Gomes, Brewer told me to watch out because the knee felt great and he'd been training hard all year with the hopes of starting. After that I left because I couldn't contain how giddy I was, only to return to ask for some pictures. I didn't want to annoy them any more than that, so I didn't ask anything else. It's probably one of the coolest non-priority things that has ever happened to me.

Brewers ability/confidence relation is just another example of why Whittman was the worst coach ever. He must have had these players feeling absolutely terrible about their abilities.

Just saw the highlights from the 2nd half I missed. That block on Gordon by Brewer was nasty, he's looking really confident out there.

Well, I at least got to see a little bit of the first half. Never thought I'd see 20/10 from OPec. :o
Brewer is definitely looking much better. I'm starting to believe Rev.

Anybody know why Sessions is getting such little minutes?

Cardinal should get some minutes - probably not 20+ once Love and Jefferson are back, but he has a good feel for the game, and the team seems to play better when he's on the court. He's somebody that does the little things to help turn the ship around when we are struggling. When we are going good, I don't know that he needs to see the court much. I hope we try to re-sign Cardinal to a vet min contract next summer. He's making way too much right now, but he still has value on the court -even if he looks goofy.

Finally got to see the Wolves in action. They looked rather impressive actually. I thought without Love and Al they'd look discombobulated. I like our future with guys like Flynn, Brewer, and Ellington out there.
