Does Rebuilding really take this long?

Moderators: Domejandro, Worm Guts, Calinks

When we traded KG, how many years did you think we would be rebuilding for?

Mchale set kahn up to have it easy imo, half our side was already coming off contract and he got us loads of picks ,yet kahn gets all the credit for making us worse
its nice to have rubio but we need to be sure hes coming over before we start to say kahn is great,a lot of things can change in 2 years and we could of had 2 great prospects this year in flynn and either Curry,Derozan,Hill,Holiday or Teague
pg-Flynn
sg-Curry
sf-Gomes
pf-Love
c-Jefferson
would of been a great side, fun to watch this year too

To quote myself:

If McHale was still there, we wouldn't have had two top 6 picks. He would have given both Foye and Miller max extensions and ridden them to bottom 10 finishes until doomsday.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

We might be a playoff team next year, if we get a good player through trade (salary dump?) or free agency. If that happens, we would have had 3 "rebuilding years" and would be starting the "young playoff team" years.

Well, that makes quite a bit more sense. Though, I'd want to avoid Josh Howard. The guy is a lot older (29) than one would expect considering his draft year.

I think that means we won't be making a blockbuster trade with our combined 22 million in expiring contracts if Kahn is saying 2-3 years.
