Because it's off-topic of the thread. And it gets rehashed in every thread. What value is there in trying to discuss where the franchise should go while continuing to bash decisions made by a previous regime? Wish in one hand and crap in the other...

Play the cards you're dealt instead of spending so much time and effort whining about the past. It tears away from any good vibrations or looking forward to the future when the kiddies can't let go of the past. Again, it's trying to fix your marriage while crying about an ex-girlfriend.

It is off topic in this thread, I'll give you that, but it doesn't get rehashed in every thread. Sometimes to succeed in future you've got to understand why you failed in the past.

Literally every? No. Per near? Yes.

 Wow...

Alright. Can we just create a rule that every thread needs to be about one of three subjects?
-Kahn failed at the draft
-What can we trade Rubio for
-McHale is the worst GM ever and I still can't get over it

Let's completely ignore the fact that a newer contributor took an article off a reputable website and went through the effort of comparing the pieces we have to the formula from that article, brought in some historical information/comparisons/commentary, and actually created a good discussion piece. Screw the point of the thread and turn it into one of the three above required subjects that seem to highlight this forum all the freakin' time. And instead of looking forward let's just sit around and hate on the past. If only... What could have been...?

10 responses in this thread was thrown off subject and turned into the typical "Fire McHale" theme, except the difference now is that McHale no longer works for the Wolves.

I just disagree in the encouraging of these kind hijackings. I might be in the minority there. If so, I can definitely conceed to the regularly scheduled program. I'll even light the match for the burning down of his house if it makes everyone happy. ;-)

Chauncey Billups. Now shut up. I don't get why people still say that after all these years.

Billups was just as much of "his boy" as those guys, if not more. If that's why McHale kept guys around, he would've kept Billups.
