OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

i wonder if theres a chance he could play alongside jefferson in the next game, jefferson and jawai double J
would be hard for teams to control

Tomorrow we play Golden State. I usually don't like this but we should start:
PG - Flynn
SG - Sessions (since Rambo 100% won't do this, I'll settle for Wilkins/Ellington/Pavs)
SF - Brewer
PF - Gomes
C - Jefferson

AND RUN!!!

nope but i liked the direction he was heading in ,and thought all we really needed was a pg ,having foye as our 6th man would of been perfect
Miller might not have taken many shots but at least he would of made most of the ones he did
Kahn has pretty much made us a 10 times worse team

even if we add joe johnson its not gonna help this team one bit

Actually, if you added Johnson right now, it would help a lot. You'd have two go-to backcourt scorers in Johnson and Flynn and you'd push someone to the bench.

Regardless, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that with Love healthy, Jefferson healthy(and 100%), a vet wing(Johnson, Wallace, Iggy, heck even Gay), Pekovic, and a lottery pick, we'll be just a bit better. Call me nuts.

One player truly can make a difference if the player fits the team. I mean just look at the Phoenix Suns. They were a crap team with a bunch of young talent, but they sign Steve Nash, who was an All Star caliber player, but not looked at like a MVP caliber player and the team turned into a great team practically overnight.

I'm just sick of seeing the lack of energy, bad passes, overdribbling. Its annoying how they take on the Celtics and bring all this energy, but the Blazers come in and it looked they were sleeping. Ryan Gomes even said that they look at the Blazers as a rival. I feel like i was just robbed of the last 2 and a half hours of my life watching my team give no energy. Jonny Flynn and Gomes really looked like the only pro players out there for us tonight.

Who could he match up with on the Warriors besides Turiaf? I have liked Jawai so far and would like to see him continue to get minutes, but the Warriors are not a good match up for him.

How about broadcasting games in HD. That would be nice.

I think they couldve been in the running for LeBron...

We're pretty happy we tied up ALL that money (7 mil per year omg) too. Plus we'd have no shot at LeBron, since we extended Roy and Aldridge. With or without Miller we'd be over the cap next season.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

If you had said before the game that Roy would only score 2 points, I would have been expecting a win. Strange boxscore.

The team is bad, but you can't expect them to get off to a good start to the season when more than half the roster is traded in the off-season, and a brand new coaching staff comes in. That's the main problem atm, everyone's still trying to figure out how a certain player plays, or how the coach is going to react.

Nice game by Jawai to. :D

This team is terrible, especially with Al playing this badly, but the offense is helping anything. Sessions should not be this irrelevant.

I guess we'll see many more road games like that one this season. :(

I have some hopes that Brewer can develop into a starter, Jonny, Kevin and Al (if healthy) are good. But thats about it. :-?

I disagree, Sessions is a talented player. He gets no playing time, and the triangle doesn't accentuate and make use of his talents. [As the triangle also hurts Jefferson and Flynn...

Thats 3 of our best 4 players, if you are keeping count.

Good coaches design their offense around their talent. Phil Jackson was smart to use the triangle for both Jordan and Kobe. Those are the types of players who benefit from the triangle. I don't see any great wings on the Wolves roster.

I see lots of PG talent, which is irrelevant in the triangle.
