Another Offseason Idea Min/Lac

Post#1 » by Dandy » Mon Mar 15, 2010 9:52 pm

Minnesota Trade: Love, Brewer(exp), Hollins, Sessions, Gomes, Rights to Rubio, Rights to Pekovic
LA Clippers Trade: Kaman, Gordon, LAC #1

Minnesota
C: Kaman
PF: Jefferson
SF: Gay(FA)
SG: Turner(MIN#1)
PG: Flynn
#6: Gordon
#7: Favors(LAC#1)

Clippers
C: Jordan
PF: Griffin
SF: Gomes
SG: Brewer
PG: Davis
#6: Love
#7: Sessions
#8: Pekovic
#9: (Rubio)

This is with the understanding that the players will be available at those picks, Rudy Gay would sign with MIN and Pekovic comes over next season. Even after this trade the Clippers are also able to sign a max FA to fill any spot.

Kaman can't play next to an established PF. His two best seasons in the NBA is when their lead PF has been injured. He's crap-tacular otherwise.

And NOBODY puts Baby(Gordon) on the bench. He'd actually fit well with Turner in the triangle as the starting PG. Move Flynn-tastic to the bench.

Not really sure why the Clippers do that, though.

Kaman isn't good enough to give all that up for.

Ish for the Wolves, and no reason for the Clippers to do it. Bad trade partners

The only way I'd trade Rubio is if we got Wall.

But not in this deal.

I don't see how this makes us much better than LAC considering they have Jordan, Davis, and Camby (well most of the season anyway).

I see what you did there. You thought it would be safe to reference Dirty Dancing because no one could call you on it without admitting they had at least some knowledge of the movie themselves. Nice try, but I'll go there.

GTFOOH :pityfool:  :vent: :censored: :jawdrop: :upset:

I'd be interested in the Clippers pick but not at this price. And unless you expect the Clippers pick to be #1-3 Favors will be gone before your pick. I don't see why Lac needs Love, Griffin and Pekovic anyway. 3 PF's lol.

I mean, the reason people treat me like I'm nothin' is because I'm nothin'.

You don't understand the way it is, I mean for somebody like me. Last month, I'm-I-I'm eating Jujubes to keep alive, this month women are stuffing diamonds in my pockets. I'm bouncing on **** and quick as that I could be down there again.
