What an epic post what started out as a retread post on Darko instantly morphs into of all things girls high school basketball and finishes on post bragging... WOW just WOW!!!!

I'm a master derailer.

Walking through the skyways to and from work this week, I've had the "joy" of dealing with hunders of high school kids that made the trek to the big city to chear on the future Lesbians of America. Wait, basketball, not softball. Sorry, this whole girls playing sports, voting, being allowed out of the kitchen... It's all new to me.

Speaking of derailing, I got this email at work this morning and had to share:

Fw: JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

Tagging Birds

According to the Knight-Ridder News Service, the inscription on the metal
bands used by the U.S. Department of the Interior to tag migratory birds
has been changed. The bands used to bear the address of the Washington
Biological Survey, abbreviated:

Wash. Biol. Surv.

Until the agency received the following letter from an Arkansas camper:

"Dear Sirs:

While camping last week I shot one of your birds. I think it was a crow. I
followed the cooking instructions on the leg tag and I want to tell you it
was horrible."

The bands are now marked "Fish and Wildlife Service."

@OP: All that is missing in this thread is that you say it would even have been a good deal if we had traded Darko for our pick.

Dude, if you want to talk about Darko please do so in the Darko thread. We don't want the Girls state basketball thread cluttered up with garbage.

My cousins went to Lakeville, so I'm rooting for them. Us Minneapolians don't really have much else to root for.
