Is his contract included for next year too? I thought he was just signed through this year, and he would have a cap hold...

According to Zgoda it's for next year too:

http://www.startribune.com/blogs/90769259.html
Greg Stiemsma, a Wisconsin alum who spent last season with Sioux Falls in the D League, has been signed, the Timberwolves announced Tuesday, "for the remainder of the 2009-2010 season," which amounts to roughly 32 more hours. But don't worry -- the 6-foot-11 center is also under contract for next season, too.

OK, yeah, its probably fully unguaranteed next year then, is my guess.

My point is if he's been signed as fodder for a specific trade, he might not be signed to the minimum. Its definitely more likely he's signed for the min, but I just wanted to confirm.

I see what you're saying, but we didn't have any exceptions to sign him for more, did we? MLE was split between Sessions and Hollins and the BAE was used on Pavlovic I believe.

That makes sense. I'm inserting it in my spreadsheet as the 100% gospel truth.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
