For the record, I think Bosh would rather go to NY too, but it is true he hasn't said no to MN, it's just that nobody has probably asked him (and there's probably a reason for that). That being said, It does seem like a silly thing to argue about to this extreme.

It was a PG 13 site that had the screech porn video for sale with no nudity (partial or otherwise) showing and clearly labeled as such. Didn't think it'd be an issue, as anyone at work should know better to click that link and there was no actual porn. But it still probably violated the rules.

Telfair is a funny comparison, Brevin Knight is pure comedy. And neither player has started on a team with a record above .500 in their career. And their career usage rates don't even come close to approaching where Jennings is this year, as a 20 year-old rookie. You seem to bring down Jennings constantly because of his low True Shooting Percentage, but you can't just compare three players based on one stat and call them the same. Especially when ignoring something such as usage rate.

Sure he's not an efficient scorer, but he's a good defender, accurate three point shooter (39% on 4.5ish attempts, Telfair couldn't come close to this), capable play-maker, and his team wins with him on the floor. As a 20 year-old he has considerable upside considering his great quickness and explosiveness, and the fact that his frame is likely to fill out as his body continues to mature. Not to mention how good he is pushing the ball in transition, where he has an outstanding assist to turnover ratio and a solid conversion rate. Give him a second wing player who can fill the lane on the break, and a rebounding big who can throw an outlet, and he'd be even better.

Oh, I think Telfair is a better comparison than you think. At age 20, Jennings age today, after 1 year of pro basketball he shot .394 from the field and .352 from 3 in 24 minutes a game. And like Jennings, he had 1 month that boosted up his 3 point percentage which was never known to be that good. Brevin Knight was known around the league as one of the better defensive PGs for years. All 3 of them are pass first, crappy scoring pointguards who can run a team. And all 3 of them are as good or as bad as their teammates around them. None of them wins anything, but none of them loses anything either. Jennings is fine player and a fine pick at #10, but to act like this crappy scoring guard who doesn't turn the ball over and plays a little D is a future superstar while Flynn has crap potential and hasn't shown anything shows a huge bias. You want to bring out usage percentages, how was Brevin Knight's usage his first year? 31 minutes a game, 8.2 assists, much better shooting percentages. You think that's a bad example? I think that's being generous. Knight was a solid passer and a better defensive player than Jennings is now. I think Jennings is BETWEEN Telfair and Knight, but built in the same mold.

Honestly, you have no idea what you're talking about if you think Knight was a crappy PG and a terrible comparison. His team finished 47-35 his rookie year, he was one of the better theives in the NBA for years and a solid all around defender, and one of the top 10 passers in the NBA for years as well. But feel free to talk down to anyone that disagrees with you. Obviously I'm not smart enough to understand usage rates or compare similar players at similar ages, which is why I so clumsily chose Brevin Knight randomly.

Thought this discussion would be fun to rekindle.
