I followed Fred's 10 year NBA career from college at ISU. Never watched NBA games before Fred graduated from ISU and very few since he retired as I always liked college basketball before that. I did get interested in following Tim Floyd's players who entered the NBA after following USC as my #2 college men's team the past three seasons since Freddie retired. I have rarely watched any NBA games in the past two years so even discontined NBA league PASS and cancelled my DTV this year because I had watched very few NBA games the past two years. I have always had cable so occasionally check what NBA games I can get on there.

We can't get a lot of the ISU games in the part of Iowa where I live as many are just aired on an Ames/Des Moines station so this past season I subscribed to the Clone Zone so can get most of the ISU men's football and baskeball games and women's basketball and volleyball teams which are both very good. That takes up a lot of time. I am so excited that Freddy got the ISU coaching job. I knew he would at some point but didn't know it would be this year as the former coach got a 10 year contract at Creighton even though the Cyclones had a poor record under him.

Like always I do check the NBA box scores quite a bit and am amazed how quickly the rosters change and I have lost track of where a lot of the players are anymore. Good luck to the Timberwolves I will still be cheering for you and will check in on you from time to time.

Here is the link to Freddy's press conference.

Click on his small middle picture below the bigger one. He gives credit to McHale as being the coach that would explain more to the players of what was expected of them.
