Underwelming trade idea

Post#1 » by Stephen S » Tue Jun 22, 2010 3:39 am

Hollins + #45 + #56 for Gerald Henderson

The Bobcats are looking for draft picks and the Wolves are looking for young wings. Getting rid of Hollins is the main motive here though...lol...as our one bad contract

they are looking for good draft picks.

part of me wonders if we would simply give the 45 and 56 to move Hollins.

I think we can get a pretty good backup at 45, maybe 56 too. Hopefully they aren't just sold again.
There's excellent PF/C depth in the 2nd this year and we should be drafting Hollins' replacement at 45.

I'd expect at least one, maybe both of 45 and 56 to be euros that are stashed. Assuming we don't sell or trade them.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

We've got the roster spots now, it would be foolish to ignore US talent, but I can see them stash someone if they are clearly better. DX has us taking Raduljica at 45 (which makes alot of sense).

I would try to something like that. I would insist on Hollins being a part of any team looking to buy a pick, especially if we're going to sell (trade) the #23.

Brown likes Henderson. He just doesn't play rookies/young players. Never has. Bobs easily pass.
