Agreed. But then reporting isn't reporting if you include the entire story.
People might form ideas of their own if you tell them a whole story or give facts. First rule you need to consider when you are a writer and want readers and don't have a good base. Want proof, watch FOX news or Rush Limbaugh, propganda kings. It worked for the Nazis, and it seems to have worked for Peter Vesci for ages... so why not.
