How do you have Babbit on the same tier as Henry and George?

I don't, but that's been the word out of Utah for a long time.

Utah loves them some white guys. Just like when they took Derron over Cp3, joking of course..

I dont get how there is a new rumor comming out of Minny like every 2 weeks. Does your FO not know how to keep they're ideas to themselves or are they leaking all these proposed trades for some reason I cant image all of these are just made up by the media.

I understand that. But that doesn't mean you should trade your best player for a raw deal either.

Just because a rumor involves Minnesota doesn't mean the rumor originated here...

Every 2 weeks? more like 2 hours..Its draft time so rumors are flying everywhere, plus Kahn is calling everyone about anyone to get the best deal.Stuff is bound to leak.

OKC gets the #10 from Indiana for Maynor, 18, 21

MN trade Jefferson for Jeff Green, 10, and Collison

That's the hopeful version. Replace Green with Krstic for the pessimistic version.

Is the OKC/Indy trade official or still just smoke? I think it's a nice deal for Indy.

I wouldn't mind Jefferson for #10 and expirings if the other option is dealing Jefferson and pick for expirings + #7. Even though it would suck to watch him tear us up 4 times a year.

I honestly think they'll trade him to a team in the East for that very reason. Detroit is my favorite right now - if they like George, go get him. Prince is a nice veteran to have for a season too.

In division shouldn't really matter that much. It's not ideal, but it wouldn't be worth throwing in two picks for.

I'll throw out a few options for Jefferson out east

something like 15 + Redd for Jefferson, Gomes, Hollins

a jefferson for G. Wallace swap makes sense; include nazr and hollins for salary reasons (same with Jefferson for Iggy which has been discussed plenty)

Redd is on his final year next year, and his contract might be injury insured which could be very attractive for the wolves (or for someone else).

Plus we could definitely package the 15 and 16 to move up.

I'm not a fan of this trade (or any of the current Jefferson trades, if his value is this low then we should keep him) but I think it is fairly comparable to most of the other offers out there.

Josh Smith / Al Jefferson Trade

Post#53 » by Space Jam » Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:30 am

I'm a Hawks fan and been hearing about the T-Wolves trying to get rid of Jefferson and wondering if you all would like this trade.

Hawks send
Josh Smith, Mo Evans, and 2nd round pick

T-Wolves send
Jefferson and late first rounder

Yes-No-Possibly-Hell No? As a Hawks fan I'd like it. Smith would thrive with a actuall good young PG in Flynn running the court, Smith finished 2nd in the defensive player of the year voting as well. Dynamite dunker and keeps fans on there feet, however he can be lazy at times and is stubborn. But when Rubio gets in the NBA and you have Rubio passing to Smith...It would get crazy.
