Kahn

Post#1 » by jordananderson » Mon Jun 28, 2010 9:12 pm

I think everybody is jumping on him way to fast. We need to let him do his thing, he didn't do what we expected on draft day and we are already jumping to conclusions that he completely messed everything up. We have been waiting for a long time to see a winning Wolves team, we can wait a little longer. Kahn has never sugar coated anything and I appreciate that. Lets just watch the rest of the off season and into the regular season before we are going to call him an idiot ect.

Agreed. Its not only a lot of us, but the media just seem hell bent to make Khan out to be a jacka55. I for one think we are off to a decent start. Do I think maybe we could have got more for Gomes and #16, maybe, but I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes and I trust khan, being who he is, tried his absolute best to maximize his assets. Furthermore, I think webster could suprise a lot of people if he gets consistent minutes.

Just hoping we can get something good for Al, if we do in fact trade him.

Yeah I said the same thing with the Gomes trade but Martell Webster could turn out to be a steal, I mean he is only 23 and its impossible to get good minutes in portland. When we traded for Darko nobody thought much of that, it looks like a pretty good deal now if he does stay with the Wolves, hopefully the chances of that increased with the pick of Nemanja.

I honestly cant even tell what we are looking for in return for Al. I hope its a scoring 2 or a defensive minded 4.

I don't have a problem with anything he's done so far. Just a lot of haters out there, especially in the media. They have nothing to backup their positions at all, just fantasy scenarios of should haves, same old BS.
