TRADE IDEAS:
where to start. Al needs to go. John Wooden once said, "Failure is not fatal, however failure to change can be". I am really tired of everyone saying, just keep Al he is our best player. GET OVER IT. He does not fit in the style of basketball this franchise wants to play.

NYK in: Al, Monta
NYK out: Lee, Chandler, S.Rodriguez
GSW in: Love, Sessions, Brewer
GSW out: Monta, Randolph
MIN in: Lee, S.Rodriguez, Randolph, Chandler
MIN out: Jefferson, Sessions, Brewer, Love

maybe?

So NYC gives up a perennial all-star, an MVP candidate, and the most underrated PG in the league and all they get back is Al and Monta? You have to be kidding, no way... psht

Really though, this Lee thing has to be a joke or some kind of cover. Unless we think Love is going to balloon up like Kemp, Baker, OMiller, or DC and become worthless, he would be silly. Lee and Love are like the same person. Rebounders who can clean up trash around the basket and hit from range while playing little to no defense, in a nutshell.

Why? We could have had Orton if we wanted him. Why do we need Ryan Anderson? What would you do with Vince on this roster?

Carter is only guaranteed for 4-5 million in 2011-12 so you could effectively wipe Al's salary off the books after a year. Plus, someone might have some interest in him and if not, he was a good sport in New Jersey and could be decent here.

Anderson and Orton are just the young guys thrown in. I kind of agree Anderson wouldn't be a target but I thought he had more value then Stanley Robinson, who's the only other young guy I thought the team might be interested in. Orton is raw but he could fill Hollins' shoes while he develops and maybe turn into something nice down the road.

Maybe a 3 way trade with Dallas would work. Carter goes to Dal, Dampier goes to MN, and Al Jefferson goes to Orlando.

Maybe this works

MN gets: E.Dampier, R. Beubois
MN gives: Jefferson

Dal gets: Vince Carter, M.Gortat, J.Terry
Dal gives: E.Dampier, M.Gortat,

Orl gets: Jefferson, J.Terry
Orl gives: V.Carter, M.Gortat

Knicks' mod that a lot of Wolves' posters think is a D-bag.

Redundant.

Kidding aside, modding the NYK board would suck, so much activity and one of the more knee jerk fanbases around.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Is anyone else starting to think that we should have brought in a coach with a different style of basketball? After the draft last year, our 2 best future assets were Rubio/Jefferson and IMO Jefferson can't play the style that we want right now, and I think Rubio's game would be better suited for a different slower style of play as well. Instead of trading the entire roster to fit into a scheme, we should have hired a coach who's scheme fit into the roster.

I think the system was partly chosen because of Rubio, but either way he's more comfortable pushing the ball. That's not saying he can't play in the half court, but he'll be fine pushing the ball.
