Post#1 » by minnisisky » Fri Jul 9, 2010 9:44 pm

MIN Gets: Gerald Wallace.
CHA Gets: Michael Beasley, and Corey Brewer.

CHA was really interested in Beasley.

MIN lineups

Flynn/Sessions
Johnson/Webster
Wallace/Hayward
Jefferson*/Love
Darko/Pek

*if not traded.

What do you think?

Don't think CHA does this.

yeah you are probley right... but we could probley get something good for Beasley.. they want him. i just dont really like anyone on that team other than wallace. but having him gives us the chance to trade jefferson to get a good wing to join Wes. because we would still have Love and Beasley

Bobcats JUST signed their athletic 3/4 in Ty Thomas. I don't see them going after SuperCool anymore

They just gave TT $40M. They're less interested today.

Kahn would never do this - Crash in neither PG or PF, not even Euro center.
Charlotte obviously wouldn't do this (imagine funny picture hysterically underline that, I'm just lazy to find one).

Not a chance.. Isn't "Crash" another SF? Not to mention a SF that is injury prone... I'd rather roll with Beasley, Brewer, Johnson, Webster, Ellington at wings - unless we can swing a deal for Iggy! I'd be willing to part with Al & Brew for Iggy & pieces.

However, does anyone see this Beasley deal being part of something bigger? Heat/Rapters need to make a trade.. Would we be part of the Bosh S&T

Min In: Beasley & Derozen
Min Out: Al Jeff

Tor In: Al Jeff
Tor Out: Derozen & Bosh

Mia in: Bosh
Mia out: Beasley

This would free up some of our cap, give us a young SG prospect who many liked during the '09 draft plus Beasley, another high ceiling guy. This is cheap for us and clears up our roster a bit..
We have to do the impossible, but it is possible.

No. It appears to be more of Kahn shopping the Outlet malls and Clearence racks of the NBA looking for a diamond in the rough. If he can get even ONE solid starter out of Darko, Webster and Beasley, it will be considered a success - since he only paid Cardinal, the 16th pick and a 2nd rd'er w/ 1st Rd swap for the chance to test out these guys.
