perhaps Kahn knew he could get beas for cheap, so opted to get Wes AND Beas, instead of clogging the back court more with Cousins and Beasley.

Yes, Khan knew that LeBron was going to sign with the Heat.

beasley was on the block at draft time, genius.

And? What difference does that make? LeBron was the reason why he was traded for nothing.

If Timberwolves wins atleast 30 games this season, I would say keep him and he knows what he is doing. I highly doubt that will happen b/c they're making more moves than last year, so it seems like they're in year 1 of the rebuilding plan all over again.

otherwise he would have had to give up something of slightly more value for him? and we still end up with Beas, a risky super high potential PF and Wes, a good SF. the way kahn went around it was smart, he knows a lot more about whats going on in the league than you and I. Sure, getting beas for a bag of peanuts was lucky, but at teh same time, he was on the block and kahn would have known what he needed to send to get him. Since he was on the block, it was an obvious salary dump for miami, it was reported the whole time, before bosh and lebron joined. even before wade was a certainty to return. Kahn has shown that hes not a complete imbysile with this move, and i think he deserves some credit for it.

I stand corrected.

That to me is incredible. Kahn doesn't get enough love when you look at the big picture.

Until Ricky plays a game for the Wolve...they do not have him. The have his rights, but his two year hold out (minimum) can hardly be held as a mark in Khans favor.

That's semantics. They have him whether he plays or not and whatever they do with him, whether they trade him or bring him over, is a credit to Kahn because he got him for Miller and Foye.

I'd much rather have him when he's 20 years old next year, then have gotten him when he was 18. He still needs to get stronger and develop his shot. He is playing in a much tougher enviroment than the NCAA's. It can't help but be good for Rubio and us. Now we actually have some guys worth passing to as well...

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
