What factors are you talking about? You've made no case for Beasley being the better scorer. Should be fun to see you try though.

My god, another one of these? We have enough posters that make snarky comments like this and we really can't afford another one. Please refrain.

I'm talking about all the factors that go into how their buckets are created. Once again, ISO situations. A player is much more of an efficient scorer when he is the 4th option on a team and is not asked to create for himself. A large majority of Love's unassisted buckets come off of rebounds or his own put backs. With Beasley he's either taking his man off the dribble or creating space to take a jumper.

So you would expect Beasley's number's to even out with Love's this year?

I would expect us to rely on Beasley more for scoring and Love will benefit playing off of him, much like Love benefit playing off of Jefferson. Why? Because Beasley has the tools/ability to create offense and Love does not yet. If you reversed the roles both players would suffer.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. Beasley is a bottom 20th percentile scorer and I have no idea why you would want him getting more shots. He has a 50.5 ts%. If you don't realize how bad it is for a team when he shoots the ball I can't explain it.

What would Love's TS% be if his role changed and you asked him to create his own offense?

Again you've shown no evidence that Beasley "creates his own offense." They have similar %assisted numbers. If by create his own offense you mean chucks up bad shots and hurts his team then yeah i have to agree.

Why would you argue about stats with him being on a completely different team, I don't even kno what you two are arguing about. But all Beasley's stats are pretty much meaningless being on a dif team with a dif offense.

They will be meaningless on the same team according to him because "Beasley creates his own offense". which apparently means takes bad shots.

Ok so what is your definition of making your own shot? He clearly could make his own shot in K St....

So did he just lose that ability coming into the NBA? I really think DWade hurt him the most due to his ball dominance. In this offense where the ball will be swinging from side to side, the defense will not be able to stack on one side and it will create an open floor. This will allow Beasley a lot of one-on-one match-ups. Maybe you don't like the idea of that, but I sure do.

Of course you are right he does take bad shots, but so do a lot of very talented young players.

So is the Beasley press conference going to be online today? At what time, and which link?

Thanks

I've got to disagree. Previous NBA stats aren't meaningless.
