Well he has the handle and range to be a great small forward on offense. If he can get in good enough shape to handle the defensive duties, he will be just fine. Beasley being able to start at SF (and doing it at high level) is ideal for this team. We can start both Love and Beasley and not have to deal with any issues it may cause. I think I would prefer Webster starting at SG over Johnson at least at the start of the season.

Darko (30) / Pekovic (18)
Love (30) / Beasley (18)
Beasley (12) / Johnson (30) / Webster (6)
Webster (24) / Brewer (24)
Flynn (30) / Ridnour (18)

Beasley still plays a majority of his minutes at PF, but again, being able to start both Love and Beasley puts our best talent on the floor at the start of the game.

Love and Beasley can both average around 36 minutes if they can see the majority of their time at PF and SF respectively w/ some spot minutes C and PF respectively

I did. Beasley mysteriously got a $35 million, 3 yr extension while he was halfway through his rookie contract but averaged 20ppg, so it was all good.

Love was also fine with coming off the bench. Go figure.

Calls himself a natural three and is more comfortable guarding threes and fours. Hmm ....

I'm more comfortable with him there, I can tell you that. The triangle and the uptempo approach should fit him at the 3.

I'm cool with Beas defending the 3, because if someone does get by him, they'll just have Darko to answer to.

Yeah congrats on getting Beasley, I really felt he was a talent worth keeping. But Riley had to move him because of the agreement with Wade to keep Haslem. This guy has great scoring tools, hopefully he can figure it out in Minny.
