Reminds me of Royce White trying to convince Mike Max that he is "mentally tough."

kluv was brought up to be very media savvy and always says the right things. so when he says his mind and it's not the "proper" thing to do, yes he WILL backtrack. nothing muddled about it, it's just him correcting the situation.

We need to quit quoting the adv stats from 3/4 with Beasley for last year. When he was a pf he was often in the paint and when he was a SF he was usually just a spot up shooter. No motion, no movement. In our system Beasley will do the same thing offensively whether he is a 3 or a 4. That makes no difference. It also helps that Love/Johnson both provide spacing and will crash the boards. The difference is defensive and I think Beasley can defend the 3.

Love will be given every chance to earn the starting spot. if Beasley can develop as a #1 offensive threat then Love is the scrappy rebounding PF we want next to him. I fail to see how this is an issue.
